JYSK Baltic & Balkan headquarters are located in Latvia is looking for EXPERIENCED BUSINESS LAWYER Job Role Ensuring that the business meets its compliance requirements, improving contract management efficiency, acquisitions and restructurings, managing litigations and discovery requests, and optimizing the value obtained from outside counsel. Develop, recommend and provide company policy and position on legal and rental issues. Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide analysis and counsel on legal, policy, and rental issues to include; protecting intellectual property, acquisitions, financial offerings, financial structuring, securities offerings, compliance issues for a suppliers, transactions, nondisclosure agreements, rental agreement, outsourcing agreements and business strategic planning.
2.  Analysis, preparation and translation of legal documents for various projects.
3. Represent the Company or its officials in various legal proceedings.
4. Write and administer complex vendor, rental, and specific employment contracts.
5. Develop and recommend of operating policy and procedural improvements.
6. Bring and store together and organize all materials related to each matter such as correspondence, contracts, policies, briefs and precedents. Electronic documents, scanned documents and emails must be consolidated in the matter file, whether generated internally or by external parties.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge of international and local laws. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
2. Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Latvian and European law with special interest in commercial law and commercial litigation and three to five years of corporate law experience in real estate, retail or wholesale business environment. Working experience or studies abroad will be considered as advantage.
3. Fluency in English and flexibility for traveling is required.
